Straight and Narrow Counselling Service is led by Kirston Butcher, a Clinical Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor with extensive experience supporting individuals across community, correctional, detention, and online settings.

Kirston specialises in behavioural change, offending behaviour, addiction, trauma, emotional regulation, and the development of practical strategies that support long-term behavioural stability. Her clinical approach integrates evidence-informed practice with person-centred care, helping individuals understand the factors influencing their behaviour while building the skills required to create meaningful and sustainable change.

As the developer of the Power in Change® Behaviour Change Program, Kirston has created a structured therapeutic framework that combines behavioural science, cognitive and emotional processes, values, identity, and accountability to promote lasting behavioural change across a broad range of presentations.
